Revitalizing The Real Estate Market

Dear Friends,

Below I've listed two letters and a proposed affidavit. The first letter, in conjunction with the affidavit, is proposed to current Governor Patterson. This letter is asking him to make it easier to refinance a home without paying the recording tax.

The other letter is to President Obama asking him to somehow provide the $8,000.00 stimulus to the closing table instead of an "after the fact" payment. Please print and send the letters to their respective address.

If you would like, post your name in order to encourage others to do so, by clicking on the comment button below. Please forward this link to as many people as you know.

Thank you in Advance,

Neal D'Alessio

Dear Governor Paterson,

Please stream line the process where by people can avoid paying mortgage recording tax on any property they refinance. It has come to my attention that the current process creates a situation where by the current lender profits from the borrower in order to avoid this tax.

Also, please close the loop hole where people can avoid paying the mortgage recording tax when purchasing a property.

Quite possibly we could use the attached affidavit.

Thanks.

NEAL D’ALESSIO FOR CITY COUNCIL

LETTER ©

DEAR PRESIDENT OBAMA

MARCH 30, 2009

Please make the home-owner credit available at the closing table. Maybe the buyer can send the contract to the IRS and the money can be sent to the Purchasers’ Attorney or Title Escrow account. Then the seller can get the money on the deed transfer. Please make sure no one charges a fee for this service.

Thanks
